Add it to muesli or use it to make bread, biscuits or muffins. In a blender, crush the oats to make fine oatmeal. To cook as breakfast porridge, bring one cup oats and two cups water to a boil with a teaspoon of salt, then reduce to a low heat and leave to simmer for 10 minutes. Milk, honey and chopped almonds are ideally sprinkled over it.
